Stick of Butter Rice is a flavorful side dish made with long-grain white rice, French onion soup, beef consommé, and butter. Everything bakes together into a rich, savory rice that's soft and delicious, perfect alongside chicken, pork, or beef! Just mix, top with butter pats, and bake.

- 1 Cup Long-grain white rice, uncooked
- 1 Can (10.5 ounces) French onion soup
- 1 Can (10.5 ounces) beef consomme
- ½ Cup (1 stick or 113g) butter, sliced into 9 equal-sized pats
Spray nonstick cooking spray on a 9 x 9-inch baking dish and preheat the oven to 425°F.
Pour the beef consommé, French onion soup, and uncooked rice into the pan. Mix to blend.
Place the pats of butter on top of the rice mixture.
Bake for half an hour after covering with aluminum foil.
After 30 minutes, take off the foil and bake the rice for another 30 minutes, uncovered, or until it is soft and cooked through.
Before serving, fluff the rice.
