Sliders of pizza

Serve sliders as a main course or as a fun appetizer. From dessert sliders like my Cherry Cheesecake Sliders to Kentucky Hot Brown Sliders and Reuben Sliders, I have a ton of slider recipes! Like a pepperoni pizza, these pizza sliders are topped with the same Hawaiian rolls I use in the other recipes.

Slider Ingredients

Rolls: I use King’s Hawaiian Rolls in my slider recipes. The incredibly soft, somewhat sweet rolls are the ideal accompaniment to the sliders’ many flavors and bake up beautifully. Additionally, I have a homemade Hawaiian roll recipe that you can utilize. Dinner rolls are another option.

Pepperoni: For 48 pepperoni, I placed roughly four pieces on each of the 12 rolls. Of course, you can add more or less.

Pizza Sauce: You can make your own or use your preferred brand. (Preparing that recipe takes less than five minutes!)

Butter Mixture: Before the rolls are baked, the melted butter is smeared with parmesan cheese, Italian spice, and garlic salt. Additionally, brush on any remaining glaze brush on any remaining glaze after removing the sliders from the oven!

How to Prepare Sliders with Pizza

This appetizer or dinner is simple to prepare. Begin by combining the melted butter mixture. The bottoms of the rolls are to be laid on a 7 x 11-inch baking dish before creating the sliders. (If you only have a 9 x 13-inch baking dish, you may get away with using that.) Place six pieces of mozzarella cheese on top of the buns, covering roughly two rolls with each slice.

After the initial layer of cheese, add the pepperoni slices, the sauce, and the remaining cheese slices. Brush on the melted butter mixture after covering the layers with the tops of the rolls.

Serving Ideas for Sliders

If you’re serving these as dinner, ensure you have some sides. Add a vegetable, such as asparagus or green beans. Another option is to begin the meal with a crisp wedge salad. Additionally, if you’re sticking to the pizza and wings combo, place a dish of chicken wings on the table!
