Bread with Margherita Focaccia
Red sauce, mozzarella cheese, and green basil leaves are the ingredients of pizza Margherita, often known as Margherita pizza. The components’ hues represent the Italian flag’s red, white, and green. Therefore, using Italian bread, such as focaccia bread, for the crust in this recipe for Margherita focaccia bread makes sense.

Ingredients for Margherita Focaccia Bread
This recipe consists of three components: the sauce, the toppings, and the focaccia bread.
Focaccia Bread: This recipe begins with the focaccia bread. The classic Margherita pizza ingredients are placed on top of a soft, thick crust.
Sauce: This homemade tomato-based sauce, both the sauce and the topping, contains cherry tomatoes.
Toppers: Remember to use the colors red, white, and green in this pizza. This will add more cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, parmesan, and basil cheeses.
Dough for Focaccia Bread
The first step in making Margherita Focaccia Bread is to prepare the dough. Combine the sugar, water, and yeast in a large bowl. After combining all of this, let it sit for five minutes. While that is resting, mix the salt, garlic, Italian seasoning, and olive oil in a small bowl.
Set aside half of the olive oil mixture for later use and add the other half to the yeast mixture. Place the dough in an oiled basin and stir in the flour. Cover it with a tea towel for approximately one hour or until it has doubled in size.
How to Prepare the Sauce
Prepare the sauce while the bread dough is rising. Grab a blender or food processor to make the sauce. Add the cherry tomatoes, sugar, balsamic vinegar, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper to the food processor. Pulse until the sauce is the desired consistency. As the dough rises further, set it aside.
Prepareing Of Margherita Focaccia Bread
First, once the bread dough has risen, fill the bottom of a 9 x 11-inch baking dish with the remaining olive oil mixture. (The bread will be thinner if you use a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.) The dough should then be added to the dish and pressed out to the sides.
Use your fingers to make indentations in the dough. Do not apply a lot of pressure. Bake the bread crust at 450°F for 12 minutes.
Once the bread has baked for 12 minutes, remove it from the oven and garnish it with the toppings. Spread the sauce over the bread, then add the sliced cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, parmesan, and basil leaves. Return the bread to the oven and bake it for a further 10 to 12 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling and heated. Warm up and serve.

Different Ways to Prepare Margherita Focaccia Bread
If you would prefer not to bake the pizza in a conventional oven, a convection oven or even an air fryer (if large enough) can be used. As if you were baking the pizza in the oven, follow the directions. For each, use the same baking time and temperature. As a result, the focaccia bread will be less soft and fluffy, and the crust will get crispier.
