Delisious Crazy Crust Pizza

Using a liquid batter instead of standard dough for the crust, Crazy Crust Pizza is a thin-crust pizza that truly lives up to its name! If you want a more conventional pizza, try my pizza dough recipe, which makes the ideal classic crust.

Pizza with a Crazy Crust
Naturally, I had to give Crazy Crust Pizza a try since it recently became viral on TikTok! The recipe that’s going viral, though, isn’t the original. In fact, the TikTok recipe resembles an enormous, tender pancake crust. I’m sorry for anyone attempting that version!
The original recipe for Crazy Crust Pizza was found in a 1969 Pillsbury flour bag. It’s truly amazing how this pizza uses a liquid crust and comes together flawlessly. (Hint: it’s basically a Dutch baby.) It turns out crispy and thin, leaving everyone wanting more! This is such an easy dish.

Ingredients for Crazy Crust Pizza
Flour: I use all-purpose flour for this recipe. Due to its lower gluten level, it produces a perfectly balanced, chewy, yet pleasantly crispy crust.
Pepperoni: My all-time favorite pizza topping is pepperoni! Although I adore a traditional pepperoni pizza, you can switch it up with additional toppings.
Pizza Sauce: Although store-bought sauce is equally effective in an emergency, I prefer making my Homemade Pizza sauce!
