Peach Pecan Dip with Bourbon
This Bourbon Peach Pecan Dip is unique enough to be a stand-alone dish, and you can never have too many dip recipes. Every bite includes a combination of salty and sweet flavors. The nuts also add a delicious bite to the dip. It tastes great spread on a slice of toasted French baguette or served with buttery crackers.
Ingredients for Bourbon Peach Pecan Dip
Bacon: Cook and crumble the bacon beforehand. Then, bake it on an aluminum foil-lined baking sheet for 18 to 20 minutes at 415°F. Save some of the crumbled bacon for garnish when you stir it in.
Onion: Use a little yellow onion. Or use around half a cup of minced onion.
Bourbon: You can use any whiskey in its place if you don’t have any on hand. If you’d rather, you can omit it.
Peaches: Try to find fresh ones; I used roughly three peaches, which yielded approximately two cups diced. (The amount of flavor you get from the peaches will depend on whether the fruit is in season.)
Pecans: Chop the pecans, setting aside some for the garnish.
Cream Cheese: To make it easier to spread onto the pie plate, make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature.
Chipotle Chile Powder: Read the labels to make sure you get ground chipotle chili pepper powder, which is prepared solely with chipotle chilies. Chili powder is not the same as this.
Preparation Of Peach Pecan Dip with Bourbon
Cook the onions in butter until tender before beginning to make this dip. After the onions are done, take the skillet off the burner. Then add the bourbon, brown sugar, chipotle chili pepper powder, cola, cornstarch, and garlic powder. Put the skillet back on the burner.
Heat the mixture until it boils. After that, lower the heat to low and simmer the mixture for ten to fifteen minutes or until it thickens and reduces. Periodically stir the mixture. Stir in most of the chopped pecans, most of the bacon, and the peaches while the skillet is still on low heat. Simmer for three to five minutes.

After the mixture is thoroughly heated, please turn off the heat and let it cool a little. When ready, cover the bottom of an 8-inch pie plate with the cream cheese, making sure to cover the edges as well. Finally, sprinkle the peach mixture over the cream cheese, followed by the chopped pecans and the saved crumbled bacon. Warm up and serve with toasted baguettes or buttery crackers. Your Thanksgiving dinner and other holiday Appetizer ideas should absolutely include this.
If the leftovers are not eaten within two hours of sitting out at room temperature, store them in the refrigerator. Cover the dip when stored in the fridge; it will last up to three days.
